Lullingstone Castle & The World Garden

Castle Farm - Lavender Farm (seasonal)
In the summer months, the Lavender fields burst into colour across the Kent landscape and they harvest and extract pure Lavender Oil. There is a farm shop with local food and a coffee/tea hut.
Eynsford Castle - English Heritage (Free entry)
Eynsford Castle in Kent is a picturesque Norman castle ruin nestled along the River Darent, offering visitors a glimpse into medieval history.
Farningham Wood Nature Reserve
Start your family adventure with a visit to Farningham Wood Nature Reserve. Take a leisurely stroll through the beautiful woodland trails, let the kids explore the diverse flora and fauna, and enjoy a picnic amidst nature.
In both Eynsford and Farningham you can wade in the rivers. It is very shallow. Most parts are not more than waist-deep. Just remember to bring river/jelly shoes!
In Farningham, walk along the river going past the Lion pub (don't go over the bridge) and there are lot's of access points. In Eynsford, you have direct access right outside The Plough.
Brands Hatch - 5 mins drive
Brands Hatch in Kent is a renowned motorsport circuit known for its challenging layout and rich history of hosting thrilling racing events.
Swanley Park - 10 mins drive
This has a boating pond, soft play, miniature railway line, playground and water fountains in the summer. There is a cafe with cheap food.
Firefighting Museum - 10 mins drive
The Kent firefighting Museum tells the story of firefighting particularly in Kent, through the display of historic firefighting appliances, uniforms, equipment, and ephemera as well as through archives, records and photographs.
Shoreham Aircraft Museum - 10 mins drive
History and aviation enthusiasts will enjoy a trip to the Shoreham Aircraft Museum. Learn about World War II aircraft and the role they played during the war. Kids can even sit in some of the cockpits!
For rainy days there is White Oak Leisure Centre in Swanley 2.5 miles away. There is swimming pools, gym, cycling suite and there is also soft play for little ones (toddler area and a section for up to 10 years old). Finally, there is Tag Active, an obstacle course for adults and teens!
Buzy Bees Softplay - for a rainy day with little ones! 10 mins drive
Buzy bees is an indoor soft play centre, providing a safe, clean, fun space for children to explore. It features a large frame for the over 5’s, and two separate areas for under 5’s.
Hemsley Conservation Center - 15/20 mins drive
This is a very small zoo. There is a small on-site café.
A family-friendly afternoon out. You can walk around and feed some animals on a farm. As you go into the farm the first thing you will see are the Sheep and Llamas, in Spring watch out for the naughty lambs who have escaped through the fence and will be after your feed bucket. As you wander up the farm path you will come to the Goats these can also be very naughty.
A family-friendly day out on a working farm. There are animals to see, feed and pet: goats, chickens, sheep, owls. There is an outdoor adventure playground and an indoor soft play. There are tractor rides and talks. It is also a live outdoor museum with house with their original decor from the 1940s.
Your days out in Kent can be super fun and adventurous when teamed up with a day at Diggerland. Guests of all ages can ride, drive and operate real diggers! All in a safe and family friendly setting.
